Mumbai Indians (MI) have held the prestigious IPL title 5 times in their hands. They have always been the team that produces quality talent, and that list heavily includes bowlers.
Jasprit Bumrah, Lasith Malinga, Hardik Pandya, Harbhajan Singh, and many more grabbed the eyeballs while performing for MI. But just like every other team, few batsmen make scoring runs against the men in blue a cakewalk.
Here we look at the top 10 batsmen who have succeeded against the robust bowling lineup of MI in the IPL.

Key Insights
The South African sensation AB de Villiers became Indian fans’ favourite when he donned the red jersey of RCB. Playing against Mumbai brought the best out of ABD if we go by the records. The star RCB batsmen piled up 785 runs in 24 innings at a stunning average of 43.61, the second-highest on the list and third overall. His unbeaten 133* against MI in Wankhede in 2015 is the highest score against the Mumbai Indians in IPL history. And the strike rate of 148.11 is the icing on the cake.
No prizes for guessing Suresh Raina’s name in the top half of the ladder. Raina scored over 5000 runs in his career in the IPL, which clearly shows how vital he was to the success of the Chennai Super Kings. The left-handed batsman was the first to score over 800 runs against the men in blue.
KL Rahul scoring over 950 runs at an average that is the best against MI among any batters (79+) is quite a remarkable achievement. The strike rate of 135+ adds more value as a responsible opener than he has been in recent years. He also has the most centuries (three) against the Mumbai-based side.
‘Gabbar’ of world cricket, Shikhar Dhawan, was a sight whenever he got going. The same was the case in the IPL. The southpaw had a tremendous record against every team, but Mumbai Indians held a special place in his heart, whether playing for them or against them. The left-handed batsman, who played for MI in his initial years, tore them apart. His 901 runs in 28 innings at an average of around 40 shows how much he loved to play against his former franchise.
