Following the conclusion of the mega IPL auction on November 24th and 25th, 2024, held in Jeddah, the teams have finalized their complete squads for the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League.
Rishabh Pant, the former player for the Delhi Capitals, has signed with the Lucknow Super Giants for the season after the franchise acquired him for a record price of 27 crores. Other significant acquisitions in the auction include Shreyas Iyer, who was bought by the Punjab Kings for 26.75 crores, and Venkatesh Iyer, who ed the Kolkata Knight Riders for 23.75 crores.
