Key Insights

Mumbai Indians have a win percentage of 50+ against eight teams with whom they have played in 10 or more matches.

MI have faced seven teams in 20+ IPL matches, with 20 or more victories against two of them — CSK and KKR.

Among the 14 teams MI played against, they couldn’t beat only one team — the Kochi Tuskers Kerala — in the only match they played in the 2011 season.

The Indians were one of the teams involved in the first-ever double Super Over that took place in the IPL. The 2020 IPL match between Mumbai and Punjab ended in a tie, followed by a tied Super Over. Thus, a second Super Over happened, which Punjab won.

The Chennai Super Kings are the only team Mumbai have faced in five or more IPL Playoff matches.
