Key Insights

The Mumbai Indians have won the IPL title five times. Their maiden title victory came in 2013, followed by 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2020.

All five title triumphs came most successful captain in IPL history, with 87 wins to his name.

When MI lifted the IPL trophy for the fifth time in 2020, they became only the second team to win the tournament in consecutive seasons after CSK (2010 and 2011).
