Top 10: Most Runs against a Single Opponent in IPL

David Warner’s batting strike rate of 160.93 against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru is the best amongst players with more than 850 runs against an IPL team. The left-hander has scored runs at an average of 43.05 while facing RCB bowlers. (Check Warner’s year-wise performance in the league.)

Warner has 13 scores of fifty-plus against the Punjab Kings, and this is the most time a player has crossed the 50-run mark against a single team.

Warner is one of the three batters in IPL history to have scored more than 1000 runs in the IPL against two different teams. The others are Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Overall, there have been seven instances of a batter scoring at least 1000 runs against a single opponent, and this is between four different batters. Shikhar Dhawan is the fourth batter with 1000+ runs against CSK in the IPL.
