There have been 217 instances of a team posting a total of 200 or more in the IPL. The five-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) lead the tally with the most such totals (32), followed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who have 30 scores of 200 or more.
3 teams, Punjab Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Mumbai Indians, have all posted 25 totals of 200 plus each in IPL history.
2024 was the watershed edition in this regard as we witnessed 41 instances of a team suring the 200 total mark in an innings. The 2023 season closely follows it with 37 200+ totals.
287/3 by Sunrisers Hyderabad against RCB at Bengaluru in 2024 is the highest ever total posted by a side in IPL history. SRH take the second and third spots with totals of 286/6 & 277/3 respectively.
